Tips before, during and after a massage
Before you come to our massage salon, please consider the following:
- Take a nice shower or bath before your massage. Put on comfortable clothes, which you can put back on again after your massage.
- Take your time: a massage takes 1.5 to 2 hours. Don’t rush through the preparation and spend time to enjoy the post experience! Plan no complex appointment immediately after your message, but take your time to recover.
- Some people might respond emotionally to a massage. Stress is released, and relaxation causes emotions that overwhelm you. Just let it be and love yourself.
- Relax! We’ve seen it all before. Do not worry too much about that loose piece of skin on your back or a deep sob, you are in good hands!
- Drink enough water before getting a massage, but don’t drink less than an hour in advance. That way, you will not be lying on a massage table with a full bladder, which can feel unpleasant. Drink a few glasses of water after a massage, so your body can remove the released wastes more easily.
